The cargo is moving, the documents are not ready
The shipment is already in transit or the cargo has reached the border, but the document set is incomplete. You need to see quickly what is missing and close the gaps. -

The company has no foreign trade department

Machine tools, production and packaging lines, individual units. They often travel disassembled, across several packages and under different codes. -
Spare parts and assemblies
Components for equipment and heavy machinery, including urgent items for a production line that has stopped. -
Materials and components
Raw materials, components and consumables for production — both regular batches and one-off supplies. -
Cargo with special requirements
Items requiring permits or special transport conditions, including industrial chemicals with ADR components. Such cargo is assessed separately.
What the cost of customs clearance depends on
There is no fixed price list in clearance: the total is made up of the customs payments and the cost of the support. We give an indication after reviewing the documents.

HS code and rates
The classification determines the duty rate, the VAT rate and the list of permit documents required. This is the main factor in the final amount of the payments. -
Customs value
The base on which payments are charged. It is formed from the price of the goods on the invoice plus the costs included in it under the delivery terms. -
Delivery terms
Incoterms determine whose costs are included in the customs value and on whose side export clearance sits in the country of departure. -
Composition and specifics of the cargo
The number of items and packages, the need for permit documents and any special transport conditions all affect how labour-intensive the support is.

No. Turkey Logistic arranges and supports customs clearance: we prepare and check the documents, help with classification and the estimate of payments, and interact with the customs representative. The declaration is filed by the specialist party holding the corresponding status.
The basic set: the foreign trade contract, the invoice, the packing list and the transport documents. Certificates, declarations of conformity, licences and other permit documents may also be required — the list depends on the HS code. We name the exact list once we have seen the invoice or a description of the goods.
The total is made up of the customs payments and the cost of the support. The payments depend on the HS code, the customs value and the delivery terms, so there can be no fixed price list. We give an indication after reviewing the documents.
The basis of the calculation is the customs value and the rates linked to the HS code: import duty, VAT and customs fees. Part of the costs is included in the customs value depending on the Incoterms delivery terms.
A preliminary view is possible from the description of the goods, the technical specifications and the intended use. A preliminary assessment helps to calculate the economics of the deal, but the final classification decision is taken as part of the declaration process.
